Slack Lists: Transform Conversations into Real-Time Projects

There’s certainly not been a shortage of Slack news in 2024, and World Tour London saw the announcement of “Lists” as the latest Slack feature to join Team GA. What’s that about then?

Slack Lists are a handy new tool designed to help you out with the management of key tasks, projects, and conversations all in one place. That means no longer using Slack, your notes app, and those post-it notes you promised yourself you’d get rid of…

Instead, Lists allow you to harness the conversations you’re already having and turn them into actionable projects that can be shared, updated, and tracked, with essential fields (like owner, due date, and status) displayed in easy-to-navigate columns.

If you need any more convincing, we can promise you that Slack Lists are:

  • Easy to use and user-friendly
  • Rely on quick features that enhance productivity
  • And generally make your working life just that little bit easier.

Be sure to check them out!

However, if you’re looking for a pretty solid breakdown of this, then this is a good place to start.

Data Storage costs are over the top at $1800 tb/annum. You can buy a 1tb enterprise class hard drive for around $350 (retail) and get a good 4-5 years use from it. Storage is cheap - unless it’s from Salesforce.
