Weekend Musings: Unlocking a Prosperous Future

Weekend Musings: Unlocking a Prosperous Future

India certainly has a prosperous and progressive future on mind. We are already on our path of progress, and now is the time to support it with proper policies and other initiatives as well. While our nation is full of opportunities, these opportunities also create a certain environment of unpredictability.

This is because our opportunities are defined by our aspirations. And our perception of ‘aspiration’ has changed rapidly in the past few decades. With each passing year, new layers of comfort and convenience are added to it, thanks to constant innovation. They continue to lead us to new opportunities that can help us achieve a ‘Better Life’. Collectively, this is how we pursue a ‘Better World’. But while this aspiring lifestyle is common to us all, there is a stark difference in how many of us realize those aspirations – a difference created by economic inequality.

Its existence is a big hurdle in our progress. Its addressal can fuel consumption and growth in the whole country. Achieving economic equality is essential to achieve the potential India holds. When everybody aspires for a better life, it will kickstart a cycle of more innovations, better facilities, increased convenience, and ultimately realizing the true potential.

Hence, sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, IT services, supply chain, automobiles, food processing, MSME etc. need to focus on job creation for the aspiring youth of the country. At the same time, policy support needs to be brought in that aids further growth of both these industries and individuals. It is imperative for policymakers, industry and relevant stakeholders of society to come together to act on the potential our country holds. The need is to structure the policies with a long-term objective of unlocking the domestic demand and creating global competitiveness.

With the current geopolitical environment, India is destined to become a global leader if progressive policies are implemented in a right and rapid manner.

The mandate is clear. It is to create a future which is prosperous, progressive & predictable and is true to the potential of our country!

Agree with you Manish Sharma , I am very close to India and can see the huge potential this nice country and people have, point is to foster and unblock this potential from private and public sectors, global companies can do a lot on that sense.
