In this episode of Weekend Musings, we are going to talk about what data privacy means in the era of Data Science and AI.

This talk is inspired by the work done by Prof. Sandra Wacher, who is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oxford researching on legal and ethical aspects of Data Science.

Episode 7 - Data Privacy in the era of Data Science and AI - Part 2

In this episode of Weekend Musings, we will be talking about the regulations that have been implemented to protect the privacy rights of people, like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Episode 8 - Tackling Data Utility and Privacy Tradeoff

In this episode of Weekend Musings, we will talk about what data utility is from an organization's perspective. We will tie this back to Data Privacy, which we discussed in the previous episode. Then we will talk about one of the recent research - Federated Learning, which is used to tackle this data utility and privacy trade-off. As Federated Learning is a complex system, we will talk about it in detail in the next episode.
