Timeline Updates in Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM has introduced a comprehensive update to its timeline view, significantly enhancing the functionality for users. This revamped feature extends the timeline from the previous six months to an impressive three years, catering to the needs of businesses that require long-term data tracking and historical insights. The extended timeline is particularly beneficial for industries with lengthy sales cycles, stringent compliance requirements, and frequent audits.
One of the most notable improvements is the ability to add notes directly to timeline events. This feature allows users to maintain detailed records of interactions and changes, allowing better communication and collaboration within teams. Notes can be used to document important discussions, decisions, and actions related to specific events, ensuring that all relevant information is easily accessible and contextually linked to the timeline.
The timeline's new filtering capabilities offer another layer of utility. Users can filter timeline data by module, user, time, and the source of changes, making it easier to manage and analyse vast amounts of information. For instance, sales managers can quickly identify changes made by specific team members, track the evolution of a deal over time, or focus on particular modules like leads or opportunities.
Finally, Zoho CRM now includes email status tracking within the timeline view. Plagiarism Checker in Zoho Writer
Zoho Writer has introduced an AI-powered plagiarism checker, enhancing its suite of features aimed at improving writing integrity and originality. This new tool is part of Zoho's continuous efforts to integrate advanced technology into their applications, ensuring users benefit from the most innovative solutions.

The AI-powered plagiarism checker in Zoho Writer is designed to help users maintain the authenticity of their documents. Schedule Meetings in Zoho Desk
The Zoho Meeting extension for Zoho Desk is a significant enhancement for customer support teams, integrating seamless meeting capabilities directly within the ticket interface. This new feature is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of customer service operations by allowing support agents to initiate and schedule meetings without leaving their ticket management workflow.
With the Zoho Meeting extension, agents can now start a video or audio meeting directly from a ticket in Zoho Desk. This integration facilitates real-time communication with customers, making it easier to resolve complex issues that are better handled through direct interaction.
The extension supports various functionalities like screen sharing and meeting recording within the Zoho Desk interface. These features can be particularly useful in technical support scenarios, where demonstrating a solution or going through complex processes is necessary. The recording function also means that both agents and customers can revisit the discussions for clarity or compliance purposes.
In addition to these direct benefits, integrating Zoho Meeting within Zoho Desk simplifies the workflow for agents. It reduces the need to switch between multiple applications to communicate with customers, thereby minimising errors and saving time!
Un-Deleting a Record in Zoho CRM
Everyone's done it; we've hit delete on the wrong thing in the CRM and entered panic mode, trying to remember everything deleted to recreate the record and cover up our mistake!
Thankfully, hidden from view, there is a way to restore deleted items without remembering every detail, and I've covered it in this week's video!
I'll be honest: this video was prompted by me making a desperate rush to the deleted items after hitting the wrong button in my own CRM... So, even as a Zoho consultant, sometimes you need this handy safety net!

10 个月Jake the Plagiarism checker is not available to UK users based on the EUDC, A2Z Cloud have raised this with the Writer team and asked them to be more specific in their promotion of the feature to prevent frustration by EU users of Zoho They have confirmed it will be available but the date of availability is not clear.
