APET Rescue Animal Shelter Open Hours/Upcoming Permanent Closing?

Team TCOTATU,

As you may or may not have heard, APET Rescue will unfortunately be closing?its doors by June 1st after 20 years of service to the Edwards Air Force?Base Community.?This was not an easy decision, but due to the upcoming?losses of several key volunteers and leaders, the organization is no longer?sustainable in our mission to provide care to our resident animals.?At this?time, we are no longer taking in animals as we shift our focus to placing as?many of our dogs and cats into loving homes as we can.?We want to thank the?community for all of the support that we have received over the years.?Without your donations and dedicated volunteers to care for and love our?residents, we would have never made it this far!

To help find our animal residents the forever homes they deserve, we will be?holding more open hours, starting this week!?Stop by between 1100-1300 each?day (10-15 April) to meet a new friend. Future open hours for the upcoming?weeks will be posted on our Facebook page.?If you have room in your heart?and home for a new family member, we invite you to come and meet our?wonderful animals.?Of course if you can't make it during these hours,?please email us at?apetadoptions@gmail.com?to schedule an appointment.

We are located at Building 5550 on Forbes Ave, between the Fire Station and?the 412 Medical Group.?To view our current residents, please visit?https://petlover.petstablished.com/organization/948306.?Thank you again for?all of your support across the years, and we hope to see you soon!

With Love,

APET Rescue
