• Meet Your Team’s Trusted AI Assistant (Beta) Introducing Einstein Copilot, a conversational AI assistant for your Salesforce CRM that helps your employees accomplish key business tasks, such as summarizing records and drafting emails, just by asking. The intuitive chat interface is embedded in your users’ flow of work, making it easy for them to get Einstein's help within Salesforce. Behind the scenes, your copilot uses a large language model (LLM) to understand your users’ messages, identify and execute relevant actions, and generate natural language responses. Interactions are grounded in your data and secured through the Einstein Trust Layer. The result is a conversational experience that empowers your employees to get work done faster.
• Launch Your Copilot Quickly with Standard Actions (Beta) Using just the default standard actions provided by Salesforce, you can quickly launch a powerful copilot on the desktop site and the Salesforce mobile app without building out any custom functionality. Actions are how a copilot gets things done, and your copilot includes a library of actions that help carry out users’ requests.
• Extend Your Copilot with Custom Actions (Beta) With custom actions, you can extend your copilot with additional functionality so it’s ready to assist users with tasks specific to your business. When you create a custom action, you build it on top of preexisting platform functionality you want to make available in Einstein Copilot: invocable Apex classes, autolaunched flows, or prompt templates. Adding custom actions lets you customize your copilot and get more mileage out of your current Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Customize, Test, and Troubleshoot Your Copilot All In One Place (Beta) Unlike a traditional chatbot, a copilot can reason and respond dynamically in a conversation. But how can you be sure that your copilot understands your users’ requests, launches the right actions, and generates helpful responses? Use the Copilot Builder to manage your copilot’s actions and settings, preview a conversation and the reasoning behind it, and audit conversational activity.

• Business Data & Content

- Vector engine and Data Management

• Foundation models

Even more exciting than private use is business use, e.g., to make program and project management even more effective and efficient. I will be talking about these topics in the newsletter after the next newsletters as the next newsletter will be about generative AI for the design.
