Based upon our 20+ years’ experience in Business and IT Transformation projects, we recommend the following tools.
ALCOLOCK
From July 7, 2024, an interface for so-called Alcolock devices must be installed in every newly registered car.
Alcolock is the abbreviation for alcohol interlock system, which is basically an alcohol-sensitive immobilizer. Such a device measures the alcohol concentration in the driver's breath.
In Sweden, it is already routine for bus and cab drivers or train drivers: first the alcohol test, then the vehicle starts.
The rule in Sweden is: only those who have blown into the device and are sober can start the car. The Alcolock devices cost between € 1.500 and 2.000.
