YouTube's New Ad Options ??

This week, YouTube revealed?3 new ad options. See brief?descriptions below:

  • Moment Blast - Created for brands to spread awareness during key events and moments (such as the World Cup), this ad option will place your brand in prime position on YouTube Select content that is connected to TV's and other devices.
  • Audio Ads - These are being expanded worldwide, with podcasts also being added to the platform as YouTube is the second most popular destination for listening to podcasts.?
  • Product Feed Ads - YouTube is expanding product feed options to Discovery ads, allowing advertisers to promote specific products. YouTube is also reportedly expanding product display capacity to Shorts.

'About This Result' ??

Google has expanded the?new 'About?This Result' panel?to Europe this week. The feature?provides more information?about the source to provide more context, such as a site description and reviews. The aim of the panel is to prevent the spread of misinformation online via Google Search.

TikTok Marketing Partners ??

TikTok have released?their latest?Ecommerce Marketing Partners report?including insights into #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt. See some highlights below:

  • 37% of users have brought something they discovered whilst using the platform.
  • Consumers spend more on average when TikTok is part of the journey.
  • 92% of users take an action after watching a TikTok video.

TikTok's 17-page Holiday Marketing Guide?was also released this week for those looking to utilise the short-form content platform in the period leading up to Christmas.

Pinterest's Q3 Growth ??

12 million new Pinterest users were added in the last 3 months after a dive earlier this year, taking the platform back up to 445 million monthly active Pinners worldwide. In particular,?Pinterest note?that 'Gen Z users grew double digits year on year, accelerating from Q2'. Video engagement also increased in Q3, with video content supply in the Pinterest app rising 3% year-on-year. And finally, revenue also saw growth with the platform bringing in $685 million in Q3.
