- MOL Group and Kazakhstan’s national oil company, KazMunayGas (KMG), have entered into a cooperation agreement to jointly explore opportunities in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. This agreement builds on their successful joint venture in Kazakhstan, where MOL, KMG, and China’s Sinopec have been producing gas and condensate from the Rozhkovskoye field.
- The European Commission is participating in the final round of negotiations for the Global Plastics Treaty (INC-5) from November 25 to December 1 in Busan, South Korea. The goal is to finalize a global agreement addressing plastic pollution. The new date coincides with the Gulf Cooperation Council summit in Kuwait, which some ministers are attending. During the meeting, they will decide whether to extend supply cuts into 2025 or risk potential market oversupply.
