On 24 January 2024, NATO launched its biggest military exercise in decades with 90,000 personnel set to take part in months-long manoeuvres spanning the North Atlantic and Europe. NATO concludes contracts for another $1.2 billion in artillery ammunition
On 23 January 2024, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and General Manager of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) Stacy Cummings concluded contracts for the purchase of around 220,000 155-millimetre artillery shells worth 1.2 billion US dollars.

NATO helps to boost civilian air traffic across the Western Balkans
New civilian air routes were established across Albanian airspace on 24 January 2024 to facilitate flights to and from Pristina airport. This new development is the result of efforts carried out under a NATO-led process aimed at normalising civil aviation traffic across the Western Balkans. The new routes will positively affect civil aviation and provide significant benefits, including shorter flight times, lower fuel consumption, and reduced pollution.

1 年We have seen in recent wars that cyber attacks are an important part of wars. Considering this, NATO needs to increase its preparedness by conducting Cyber Defense/Attack exercises with allied countries before a possible war, evaluate their capabilities and eliminate deficiencies.
