Private Eye Magazine Paul Foot Award Announcement
Bestselling current affairs magazine Private Eye this week opened submissions for its prestigious Paul Foot Award for Investigative and Campaigning Journalism. Set up in memory of renowned journalist Paul Foot, who died in 2004, the Award honours the UK’s most brilliant, talented and determined journalists working in the fields of investigative and campaigning journalism today.
The winning entry will be awarded £8,000 at a ceremony in central London on 20th May 2025. The deadline for submissions is 4th March – entry criteria can be found on the Private Eye website here.

Bookshop.org Indie Champions Awards Winners
On Thursday 9th?January, Bookshop.org unveiled the winners of the annual?Indie Champions Awards, spotlighting individuals and organisations that have supported indies the most by using?Bookshop.org?in 2024. Winners include?Leena Norms, Noreen Masud, Hollie McNish,?Faber’s?Kim?Lund,?Thames & Hudson and more.
Bookshop.org?has also now hit?£4 million?profit generated for indie bookshops, following a strong Christmas trading season.
