Windham-Campbell Prizes x Lit Hub podcast


The Windham-Campbell Prizes x Lit Hub podcast has returned for a new Winter series featuring four of the Prizes remarkable alumni: André Alexis, Olivia Laing, Dionne Brand and Helen Garner. Hosted by Mike Kelleher, Director of the Windham-Campbell Prizes, in the first episode – released on Wednesday – André Alexis discusses There is No Blue, the award-winning memoir by Martha Baillie exploring family, mental illness and grief. The 2025 recipients of the Windham Campbell Prize, a major global innitiative, will be announced on Monday 24 March with $1,400,000 awarded to eight writers across fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama. Recognising literary achievement, each recipient is gifted an unrestricted grant of $175,000 to support their writing and allow them to focus on their work independent of financial concerns.

On Tuesday Rosaria Giorgi’s debut novel The Less Unkind was published. Publisher's Publicity Circle Awards

Congratulations to some of our Midas team members on being nominated for the PPC Awards!? Hannah McMillan and Emily Laidlaw for their outstanding work on the announcement of Frank Cottrell-Boyce as the new Waterstones Children’s Laureate, and Anna Zanetti, Jane Lau, and Henrietta Richardson for their contributions to the Booksellers Association’s Independent Bookshop Week. Winners will be announced on 3rd March!

Midas team trip: Wicked the Musical


On Wednesday, Midas took a post-work trip to the theatre to see the brilliant musical, Wicked! A big thank you to our wonderful Midas social team, who plan monthly out of office excursions for the whole company.
