USA: The Global Supply Chain Pressure Index (GSCPI) will be released, offering insights into the current state of global supply chains. The SCE Housing Survey is scheduled, providing updates on housing market conditions. The Consumer Credit Panel will present information on consumer borrowing trends. The Wholesale Trade report will be released, giving data on wholesale trade activity. Initial Claims data will offer insights into the labor market.? The Michigan Consumer Survey (Preliminary) will present consumer sentiment data.
EUROPE:? The Euro-Area experienced sluggish economic growth, expanding only by 0.1% in the first quarter (1Q). Despite this modest increase, the region may have escaped a technical recession.? The Bank of England is expected to maintain its current interest rates without changes.
ASIA:? Australia: The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is expected to announce a decision, following a surprising rise in inflation during the first quarter (1Q).? China: The country is expected to release a significant amount of economic data, particularly focusing on credit and export figures.? Key Asian Pacific emerging markets will see significant central bank decisions, including Malaysia, which is expected to keep its interest rate at 3.0%.
LATIN AMERICA:? Panama is gearing up for crucial elections.? Brazil will maintain its interest rate at 10.75%.? Peru is expected to retain its interest rate at 6.0%.
AFRICA:? South Africa is preparing for significant elections.
