This Week in LinkedIn- Top 10 Company Posts

There's so much cool content on LinkedIn. In this article I will share some cool content from companies that I have seen on LinkedIn over the past week. I hope that some of it inspires you, motivates you, makes you laugh, or anything else. There is not enough space for all the cool posts I see. Even if it's not here doesn't mean that it's not awesome!

The categories are career, customer success, marketing, recruiting, and sales. Find the section that most resonates with you, and then get cooking. Each picture also has a link to the post if you would like to engage with it more. There are 10 total posts, and a notable mentions section as well.

Career Posts

Key quote: Rejection happens to all of us.

Author:?Wonsulting

My take: In my job searches I've applied to at least 50 jobs to find one (probably way more- but who is really counting.) But all the rejection is simply redirection. It all happens for a reason.

Key quote: You deserve to be here.

Author:?LinkedIn

My take: Imposter syndrome can get to us all at some point, especially when you start a new role. Remember that you earned your spot, and deserve to be where you are. You are not an imposter but will likely always feel like one. It never goes away.

Customer Success Posts

Author:?Catalyst

My take: I thought this was too real. You should always find ways to automate your support to filter out most of your questions is important. But you also have to remember- no free consulting.

Marketing Posts

Author:?Marketoonist

My take: This one made me laugh. In the future I hope we don't just use the same marketing in the metaverse as in the digital world.

Key quote: Reuse your old content, not everyone saw it the first time.

Author:?Refine Labs

My take: As a marketer it can be so easy to get caught up in feeling like you need to publish more content. But repurposing your content shouldn't be overlooked.

When I post I find that one average no more than 10% of my network sees the post. This means that hypothetically I can repost a post 10 times before everyone in my network would see it once.

Once a LinkedIn post is more than 4 months old, you can often repost it, and change a few words. You should also reshare blog posts, and turn them into videos.

Recruiting Posts

Author:?Lever

My take: With 98 respondents, this poll can give you a solid insight into what other human resource/talent acquisition professionals are thinking.

Creating competitive compensation and benefits is important to retain talent. Much harder done than said.

Key quote: Employees are more likely to stay longer at companies where they have opportunities to learn and grow.

Author:?LinkedIn Talent Solutions

My take: As someone who made an internal shift early on in my career, I couldn't agree more. Sometimes employees think that they have to go elsewhere to transition into a new role.

Embrace that many of your employees will want to change roles, especially younger employees. If you can set up a program to let them do so, you will increase your employee retention.

Sales Posts

Author:?Sales Humor

My take: This one was too funny. We've all been here before. Nothing is more nerve-wracking than getting interrupted on a Saturday with an e-mail that you weren't expecting.

Key quote: Did you know that sales reps have only a 14-day window after first contact to engage a buyer before it's too late?

Author:?Outreach

My take: Following up is important, but it can be hard to know when to do it and how. Following these steps will help you make sure you add value to the sales process.

  • We all experience imposter syndrome at some point. Just know it's a part of growth, and that you are right where you need to be.

Customer Success

  • Be human in conversations with your customers. And show them that you care by acting on their feedback when you can.
  • Create systems and tools to answer customer questions, and don't be afraid to push back if they are using a lot of your time and not paying you for it. You aren't a free consultant after all!

  • Embrace the idea that your employees will likely want to transfer within your company into different roles and functions. And create programs to do so.
  • Find ways to offer competitive compensation packages to your employees.

  • Focus on quality follow-ups that provide value to your prospects. Be clear in what you need from them, and the next steps.
