I think the whole team can agree that there’s never a dull moment when you’re part of The Venue Experts. The past week has been jam-packed with exciting events and client meetings, so I thought I’d share a little glimpse into what we’ve been up to. Welcome to a week in the life of The Venue Experts…

Ready for our close-up

On Tuesday the team headed off to one of our gorgeous venues, Hodsock Priory, for a team photoshoot. It’s really important for us to keep our content and branding fresh, and the wonderful?Jessica Sommerville?did the most amazing job photographing us all (and dealing with our numerous outfit changes. There were a LOT!). We can’t wait to share more of the shots with you, but for now here’s a sneak peek at one of our VERY exciting upcoming projects. Can you guess what it might be? I’m thinking the microphones might be a bit of a give-away..!

Helping venues

This week we’ve been busy working on some of the core services The Venue Experts offer. We completed another?audit?on a wedding venue –?if you don’t know what this involves, take a look at?our blog?which tells you everything you need to know about our deep dive venue audits – and we are all excited about what the future holds for them. We also headed to another venue for an initial ‘discovery visit’. Spending your work days at some of the country’s most beautiful wedding venues is a serious perk of the job!?

Time to network

Anyone who knows me knows I love to be busy. I run multiple businesses and always have many different projects on the go –?I’m used to spinning a lot of plates and, if I’m honest, I thrive on it. Being an entrepreneur is a big part of who I am, so it was a real treat to join other likeminded businesspeople at a fantastic entrepreneurs’ dinner in Nottingham. I loved catching up with friends as well as making lots of new contacts.

A weekend in Greece

Over the weekend Helen and Haya from our Marketing team jetted off to the gorgeous Greek island of Santorini to meet with one of our international wedding venue clients. We’re thrilled that The Venue Experts is international, and it’s a very important part of our business that we are still able to offer that face-to-face service even if we’re not in the same country. I know Helen and Haya were so excited to share some of their marketing ideas to help turbo-charge this incredible venue.

Something new

As well as all of this, we’ve branched out even further to offer some new?services?to wedding venues. We can now provide virtual tour training for your in-house team, a social media only package –?where our marketing team looks after all your social media and account management, and a brand creation or refresh, where we come up with a new venue logo, guidelines and an overall direction for your venue’s brand and marketing activities.
