KONGSBERG and University of South-Eastern Norway launch Executive Operations Management programme
The Universitetet i S?r?st-Norge and our business area Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace are taking action to meet the growing demand for production management staff by launching a new executive programme at USN.
The company is collaborating with USN to establish an education programme in production management, in addition to contributing with a new professorship at USN that will develop and strengthen education in the field. USN is responsible for the academic content and implementation of the study program.

This unique initiative focuses on technology research for competitive sailing, leveraging data to drive optimal decision-making. Designed for students passionate about sports technology and data science, participants will work alongside Project Revolution Green students at KONGSBERG’s offices while collaborating closely with Olympiatoppen to deliver impactful results.

Broken Ground on New Missile Facility in Australia
KONGSBERG has broken ground on new Missile Manufacturing and Maintenance Facility at Astra Aerolab Business Park adjacent to RAAF Base Williamtown.
The factory will manufacture and service KONGSBERG’s strike missiles to be used by the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The Australian government announced in August it would contribute up to AUS $850 million in partnership with Kongsberg Defence Australia to manufacture and service missiles in Newcastle, including constructing a new facility in the Newcastle Airport precinct in New South Wales, about 120 km north of Sydney.
