$230 Million for Device42

The latest acquisition in the Service Management space Freshworks acquires US startup Device42, which specializes in helping companies manage their IT infrastructure. Device42 provides a comprehensive, real-time inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software and network components, across systems ranging from mainframes to cloud-based services. A Fresh CEO ??

Girish Mathrubootham, founder of Freshworks, is stepping down as CEO and will transition to executive chairman. His successor is Dennis Woodside, former CEO of Motorola Mobility, will take over his role as CEO. Read on here at our friends from Reuters website.


Number of the Week: a recent survey from McKinsey reports that AI-driven automation can increase productivity by up to 40% and lead to cost savings of up to 60% in certain industries.


Atlassian Lauches Revo

This week Atlassian launched their latest innovation, Rovo, on their yearly flagship customer event in Las Vegas. Rovo integrates generative AI and large language models to enhance enterprise search and knowledge management, making information access from multiple sources more effective with Atlassian Intelligence. Additionally, its AI-driven analyses and specialized agents automate tasks and aid decision-making, facilitating both learning and search procedures with advanced capabilities. Keen to learn more?
