What's Inspiring Me:
“You have to be able to risk your identity for a bigger future than the present you are living.”? Fernando Flores
In order to create a dream life, you have to be willing to transform and risk your current identity,?aka: where you’re comfortable right now. Is it okay to stay as it is right now? Absolutely.?
The problem is, a deep soul-filled part of you will whither away if you stay inside your comfort zone. There’s only one place you’ll thrive, and that my friend is called your Zone of Genius.
You probably know this by examining others around you, but, your Ego starts to think “those people” can live their dream life because they have a team or they have a support system or they don’t have kids. This is called compare and despair. You’re throwing out a bunch of excuses for why you "can't". You’re talking yourself out of your Zone of Genius and back into your comfort zone.
So from today forward, I want you to notice when you do this, and pop out of it. Go for a walk, take a nap, go for a run...put the social media down. Stop the compare and despair and remind yourself that we all have to start from somewhere…today is your day to start.
