Hg-backed Focus Group acquires Midland Telecom

Focus Group has acquired Midland Telecom as it continues to grow its UK footprint and serve customers from an integrated network of regional hubs.

The move will see Midland Telecom’s Birmingham Headquarters become a pivotal location to enhancing Focus Group’s accessibility and presence in the Midlands.

The acquisition will enable the team to deliver even more to customers across the area.

Midland Telecom also brings strong partnerships with vendors such as 微软 , Mitel , 3CX and BT.

Pulsant launches Partner Programme for high-growth tech

Daisy pens strategic partnership with Vodafone

Daisy Corporate Services ?has signed a new three-year strategic partnership with Vodafone ?to deliver mobile connectivity solutions.

The collaboration gives Daisy access to Vodafone’s network enhancements and will explore ways to work together to support Daisy’s customers.

Aydin Ali , Head of Commercial Strategy at Daisy Corporate Services said “Our latest deal also opens new avenues for collaboration and growth.

NEC withdraws from on-premise market

NEC has officially informed resellers that it will be pulling out of the on-premise Unified Communications market outside of Japan, over the next few years.

A spokesperson for 日本电气股份有限公司 said: “This decision follows a significant shift in market demand from on-premise to cloud-based services in recent years.

“NEC is committed to supporting its customers with this phase out and meeting its existing contractual obligations.”


NG Bailey IT Services joins RingCentral Partner Programme

The IT Services business of NG Bailey has joined the RingCentral Reach partner programme, enabling it to offer its customers a wider suite of UCaaS and cloud CCaaS solutions.

It was also aid NG Bailey’s IT Services to bolster its team’s technical expertise. This will include specialist training for its current and future cohorts of apprentices.

Rowan leads x-hoppers out of beta phase

Ian Rowan will lead x-hoppers as CEO as the provider of retail communications solutions launches its AI-fuelled platform in the UK, exiting its beta phase.

Rowan will leverage his 30 years of experience across UC&C, VoIP and retail communication systems to enable retailers and their employees to meet evolving industry demands.

He said: “x-hoppers stands at the intersection of AI technology and human-centric retail solutions.

“The solution is spearheading a transformation in retail, enhancing customer interactions and empowering frontline workers by turning challenges into opportunities.”

The solution combines wireless headsets, smart call points and advanced AI capabilities.
