This week has been one of the most frustrating and exasperating weeks of my life!

WHY?

I was exposed the absolute incompetent professional neglect that is going on in UK hospitals....

I witnessed the way technocracy has taken over compassion and common sense

PHYSIOS - frightened of movement, appearing to be nothing more than banana board bureaucrats

NURSES - spending more time serving monitors than the men and women in their wards

DOCTORS - obsessively ordering CT scans when the person being scanned knows they are constipated and would rather an enema than a picture,

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS - who have lost sight of the most magical medicine that is clean combed hair

AND don't get me started on the obs.... obs obs obs on screens screens screens.... with no consideration for actually asking or listening to the person in the bed A1 how they feel...

...whether they want waking up in the middle of the night to be monitored and measured.... or if in their exhausted state they would rather try and get some sleep

I WITNESSED THE TOTAL ABANDONMENT OF BOTH CARE AND HEALTH IN HOSPITALS

This why you matter.... people trapped in this lobster pot, plot there great escape from hospital and they need to know the likes of you are there on the other-side

They are witness to their own neglect.... and if somehow they can just hold off death and severe deconditioning they need you..

They need you and your clinic to provide a beacon of hope for when they get home.

You have the commonsense, skills, compassion and care to help them to stand, to walk, to ease the pain, to get back in the garden, to cook dinner, to regain dignity and their identity so they can live a little bit longer.

Jerry and I have absolutely no doubt what you want to offer is awesome, and way better than what I witnessed.

@Jerry Durham has patiently let me share this all with him this week, we recognised whether your loved one is in England, Wales, Scotland, Canada, USA, Netherlands, Belgium, Chile, Australia, Ireland or elsewhere it is the same.

BUT HERE IS THE THING you clinic and your concept can make a difference.....

See I called a niche Physio Clinic this morning to ask for help...

Whether have been listening to our drum beat I don't know....

But I do know they listened to me, they heard my plea for help.... and they gave me the first step and a glimpse of the next two after that for my loved one

I CRIED. I CAME OFF THE PHONE AND CRIED, AND CRIED SOMEONE HAD COMPASSION, COMMONSENSE, SKILLS AND CARE..... (NB price was not even discussed or considered)

So this cry now is one to ask you to get out your way, own your value and make your idea happen, someone right now is looking for YOU!
