This Week Ended Up Being Personal.

This Week Ended Up Being Personal.

Twice a day I am on the train with people I do not know. Very defined time box of 30 minutes, completely sealed from the rest of my life by the gates of two trains stations. My challenge is to think of an idea, take a picture, write the headline and text, design the cover and publish an interesting post… while I am on the train.

You know me, everything must be branded, so “THE DAILY TRAINER” Is born.

How intense was this week? On a scale of 1 to 10, it was... a 12. At the office, working on Elementor 2020 plans and budget, as well as on the coming Black-Friday, everything seems to shrink into this week. And the following week will be asking for an even higher volume. Can I do it? I already gave up two jogging sessions. ??

What is that got to do with The-Daily-Trainer, you might ask? Well, the train is still an undisturbed time capsule, sort of a shock absorber between the intensity and pressure at work, and love and tenderness of my home and family. On one side of the railway, The-Daily-Trainer actually makes me a better husband and father ???????????. And on the other side of the railroad, I am a better professional at work ??.

I took the last train this week with my son, Yuval Yoran, scroll down to see us.

Every day I pass this train map billboard, never paying attention to the technology behind it. This morning I have got the opportunity to take a snack to peek behind the scenes... turned out it is a neon technology ??.

At work and also on our personal life, curiosity about your surroundings and how things work is a great character quality and a blessing. It doesn't mean that everything you discover will be new and exciting, but it will be a piece in the great puzzle of life.

Sometimes the name says it all, and we just need to pay attention. Like this train passing on the bridge next to the station, I bet it is the white line.

At work, and generally in life, many things are passing our way. In most cases, we are focusing on something else and fail to pay attention to it. However when we do... isn't that great?

Where most people see a problem, Entrepreneurs see an opportunity. The bottom line is that all the people in the station will eventually get on the train. So the out of order escalators are not really a problem, more of an inconvenience.

In any project and relationship, you will be involved in; there will be some degree of uncertainty. Something will not work, others will not work as planned, and some will get out of order... again.... and... again... and... again.

Focus on your tasks and the achievement of your goals. Most of the problems you will face are only inconveniences on your way to success. Seize them as an opportunity to be out of the ordinary.

The big difference between a bad opportunity and a great one is that the great one is the one you can onboard and will take you to your destination.

This time it is the train. But in life, as well as in many professional situations, sometimes it is better to wait for the opportunity you can grab, then chasing "night trains on a bridge."

Did you know that the Hebrew word for A Platform and for Continuously is the same one? (Ra-tzif). Is that because the Platform mission is continues and never-ending?

words are not only a group of syllables put together in a recognizable pattern, but they also have a meaning, sometimes deeper meaning and sometimes even a dynamic meaning that is responsive to context, time, and location.

Working on a project, especially if your team is multicultural, pay attention to the words you are using and make sure other people on your team understand the true meaning of your written and spoken intentions. As well as that you and everybody on the team understand each other correctly.

1..2..3... Locomotive, I can see you!

In projects as in life, you should look for the things you don't see, those who are hiding away from sight. They might be good or bad, significant or just a disruption, but they are there. Find them and call them out first

You might think Ironman is the glamour one with the red iron suit, flying in the sky. In the train station, Ironman is this rusty metal cover on the floor. No one pays attention to ironman. Many are stepping on him. Yet, he holds his position, keeping the crowd from falling into the hole in the platform.

Thank you, Ironman, for keeping us safe.

At work, do you have a real Ironman or an imaginary one?

The train car will go nowhere without the powerful locomotive. However, the locomotive will fail its purpose in taking passengers or cargo without the train car. The mutually beneficial connection is bonding, and creat's the train.

At work and in life, whom you are connecting with, as well as the strength of those connections, might be crucial for your mission success. Don't look for those who are like yourself, seek for those who are complementing and empowering you.

This Emergency hammer is so small, yet, it is a lifesaver. When all the standard options are failing, you are expected to use it and save yourself and others. You even get instructions about how to use it, and you can also bring your own ideas.

In life, relationships, work, and projects do you have an Emergency Hammer? Do you and others know when and how to use it?

Note: Using the hammer without an emergency, is a felony.

Friends make great company for any journey. Family is even better. However, meeting your firstborn son on the train... That is a whole new category!

There is no work reflection on this one, only personal.
