The Week of Despair #1

This week wasn't a good one - LinkedIn wise. I realised my profile isn't optimised. My reach has been dying a slow, painful death due to how aimless (no niche per say) my content here tends to be. My laptop, my beloved, seems to be on her last leg and I will have to replace her. My parents are dancing the tango on my head daily with their 'get married' lectures. I realised how a friend has only taken and taken and taken from me. The two times I asked her for something, she iced me once and did a sloppy job the next time. My sleep schedule is ruined courtesy of this Grey Indian Hornbill that comes and squawks in my window making me all excited going, "Where are youuuuu birbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb!"
Despair!
... or drama ??
Let's start with my content consumption for the week. I think I did pretty well for the week. I blame/credit limiting my screentime to just half an hour per day for this short list.
On to greener pastures, I started this LinkedIn newsletter, not to be confused with my meowy newsletter. In this newsletter, I will give you the #WriterLife updates of this writer who refuses to take a chill.
I posted a few pending reels to Instagram involving journaling and pressed flora stuff. I was procrastinating on posting because I forgot to post. Then my gallery got more than fifty videos and it was like, "You got a problem girl... time to post or delete." ...so I posted.

On to getting over mind blocks, I am finally getting over my camera phobia and setting up scripts for YouTube videos regarding Journaling, writing, organizing the writings, etc. It took hours of staring at a ring-light for me to realise how good lighting is not an excuse to not make the videos I always wanted to make. Tiny, little excuses like that were simply methods of me getting in my own way. I don't know why I do that - self sabotage; I am working on it.
My Pinterest profile hit the 1 million+ mark and that is reflecting well on the website (as I use Pinterest to link to my website). It was heart-warming to realise people stayed on the website! Thank you anonymous strangers for making this potato boil over with happiness for a lil bit.??
...that about does it for the updates. I wasn't active on LinkedIn much the past week but then that's changing. There's an interesting live lined up for 13th February 2022 - a language learning one, so stay tuned for that!
Give me a follow if you like my work.
Ring my bell on LinkedIn to help me survive the nosediving reach.??
Subscribe to this newsletter if you like the screenshots from my Notion board.
See you in the next one!!!
