Infinigate to distribute Fortra cyber security portfolio
Pan-European distributor Infinigate Group has taken on Fortra ’s cyber security software portfolio.
Fortra’s portfolio includes data protection, email security and anti-phishing technology, security awareness training, digital risk protection, managed security services, offensive security, and vulnerability management.
“The Fortra portfolio increases the value proposition our ecosystem of cyber security channel partners can leverage to help customers protect their business assets,” said Denis Ferrand-Ajchenbaum , chief growth officer at the Infinigate Group. “Our partners throughout multiple regions will benefit from the growth opportunity offered by Fortra.”
Matthew Reck , Fortra president, added: “We are empowering the EMEA channel through Infinigate. It has the reach, market, and technical knowledge to support our expansion across such important markets.”
Darktrace expands in DACH with Bechtle partnership
Cybersecurity vendor Darktrace has expanded its footprint in the DACH region by partnering with German IT Services provider Bechtle .?
This alliance will see Bechtle add Darktrace’s ‘ActiveAI security platform’ to its cybersecurity portfolio.
Dan Monahan (pictured), SVP of the Global Partner Organisation at Darktrace, said: "This collaboration allows us to combine our Self-Learning AI Engine with Bechtle's extensive reach and expertise.”?
The partnership also introduces financial incentives designed to drive growth, as both companies explore opportunities for developing joint solutions.
Florian Macher , Head of Partner Management, Security, at BECHTLE Logistik & Service GmbH , added: "Partnering with Darktrace is an important move for Bechtle as we recognise the potential in their AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.”
Key panel debates at Managed Services Summit Nordics to boost MSP growth
IT Europa’s upcoming Managed Services Summit Nordics 2024, taking place 1st October,?will feature five key panel discussions designed to help MSPs tackle the challenges of transformation, innovation, and differentiation.?

Distribution in the SaaS era
Following the third panel session, the conversation will turn to the shifting distribution landscape including key trends impacting IT service delivery across the region for the fourth panel session, ‘Distribution Matters! ALSO Cloud UK adds Kaspersky to security roster
Pan-European distributor ALSO Group UK is adding Kaspersky products to its marketplace, allowing MSPs in the UK and Ireland to manage and deploy security services.
The partnership will help MSPs attract new customers and boost revenue in both regions, where Kaspersky already collaborates with?Infinigate and DSD Europe.
Tim de Groot (pictured), GM for Kaspersky UKI, Benelux, and the Nordics, said: “This alliance will equip MSPs with the advanced tools and protection they need to stay ahead of today’s increasingly complex and evolving cyber threats.
“By integrating our security solutions into their marketplace, we are able to offer MSPs greater flexibility and accessibility, ensuring that our technologies are readily available to a broader range of businesses.”
Kiteworks targets MSPs for compliance services programme
Kiteworks , which delivers data privacy and compliance for sensitive content communications through its private content network, has launched a managed service provider/managed security service provider programme.
As cyber threats and regulatory demands intensify, organisations are increasingly struggling with the existential risks of data breaches and non-compliance fines.
Kiteworks’ MSP/MSSP programme offers a “robust solution”, it says, enabling partners to deploy a platform that is “secure by default” and designed to meet stringent regulatory requirements, including FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018, among other compliance validations and certifications.
“The Kiteworks MSP/MSSP programme enables our partners to deliver unmatched security and compliance solutions that directly address the challenges their customers face,” says Kurt Michael , chief revenue officer at Kiteworks.
