It was a noisy week for the Bay Area community. And not all of it was sounding sweet.?
In San Francisco the dominant sound was of companies shutting up with several high profile closures announced.
While in D.C. the bellicose jostling, hot air and alarming posturing from some Silicon Valley bigwigs was almost deafening.?
Investors listening to some earnings calls liked what they heard this week. Several Bay Area firms saw a stock price jump.?
Elsewhere, there were restaurant award announcements,? a soccer team making moves in Oakland and some prominent figures revealing new logos and, perhaps, their true colors.
