AI has penetrated many areas and now that includes the Nobel prizes, the pinnacle of human achievement.

Is this an example of the Nobel committees believing the hype? Jumping on the artificial intelligence bandwagon? Or an underlining of the scope, scale and power of AI-assisted research?
