This week in AI ( Opportunity Edition )

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back, to This week in AI.

And this is the special edition for African Computer Vision Summer School (ACVSS) 2025.

ACVSS is a premier summer school that brings together students, researchers, and professionals from across Africa—and beyond—to dive into computer vision. It offers a mix of lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive sessions that teach how computers interpret and understand visual data. This event not only helps build new skills but also fosters collaboration and innovation in one of the most exciting areas of artificial intelligence.

We are excited to share this and applications are still open.

Why this Matters

Computer vision is changing the way and interaction between computers and the physical world. With simple tools and creative ideas, we can build systems that help computers understand the world around us.

ACVSS is designed to give you the skills you need to be a part of this exciting future.
