THE WEEK AFTER THANKSGIVING
Plan your week, the day before
Just get organized a day earlier. Get your laundry done, get your kids lunches and snacks together, get all the things you need to get done, that will make your morning easy and stress-free.
?Catch up with yourself
Before diving into all your emails and work, take some time for yourself each morning.?Spend some time alone, or take a walk, get away from the kids, partners, and just breathe in the air outside and feel yourself opening.
?Review your calendar, and what you have accomplished last week
Write all the “to dos” and thoughts you have about the week.?Does your schedule look doable, or does it look like you are overwhelming yourself.?First, list everything you need to take care of, prioritize it, and try and make your list fun, instead of a chore. (Even if some of the things are not your favorites.) Then make a list of everything you have accomplished last week, so you are setting yourself up for this week.
?Remove distractions
Close social media each day at work for a week. Then try it again next week, start to make it a habit.?Realize you can change this up anytime you want to. Be open to seeing what happens.
?Finally – book your next trip
Finding a balance everyday, will keep you fresh, and fired up for new possibilities, not only in work, but in your life. Start things you enjoy doing…. Yes, for YOU too.
