  1. Metal - China's Eplus3D has launched the EP-M4750, a powder bed laser printer with a 450 x 530 x 750 mm build volume and four lasers.
  2. Metal?- Solukon has introduced a large powder removal system designed for metal powder bed systems, capable of handling up to 2.1 tons of weight.
  3. Fundraising - Conflux Technology, based in Australia, has announced the successful raising of $11 million in Series B funding to advance the technological development of 3D-printed heat exchangers.
  4. Funding - Nvidia and Boeing have invested $14 million in Freeform, a California startup founded by former SpaceX engineers.
  5. Technology - Makeability Lab presents MobiPrint, a robotic and mobile printer that prints on any surface in the house
  6. Software - Siemens is in talks to purchase Altair, a pioneer in topological optimization software for 3D printing.
  7. Polymers - EOS will unveil a new polymers powder bed tech at the upcoming Formnext exhibition.
  8. Industry news - GKN Aerospace announced plans to invest 55 million dollars in a 3D printing manufacturing plant in Sweden that will employ 150 people.
  9. Metal - The French company AddUp plans to launch a laser powder bed printer with an extra-large build tray, measuring 750 x 750 x 1000 mm, and the capability to expand to 1.5 x 1.5 x 2 meters.
  10. FFF/FDM - The French company QUALUP introduces a rotating print head with a new technology of flat profile filament material combined with special software.
