  1. Industry News - 3D Alliances, a consulting company, has recently launched a new service called IMPACT. The service is aimed at helping manufacturing companies in the field of 3D printing to improve their business results. With its unique knowledge and experience, 3D Alliances can efficiently manage and accelerate global distributors.
  2. Large format- Massivit has recently unveiled a new printer, the Massivit 3000, which will be showcased at the Drupa exhibition in Germany. This printer offers a larger printing volume of 1.2 x 1.5 x 1.8 meters and will be marketed as a more accessible option than other models the company offers.
  3. Industry News - Swiss Sintratec, one of the first to offer affordable SLS printers, announced its cessation of operations.
  4. Industry News - Zortrax from Poland, which produces several types of 3D printers, has announced a restructuring to address financial problems.
  5. Microprinting -Boston's BMF Microprinting has introduced a 3D printer with a 100 x 100 x 50 mm build volume and dual resolution. Users can choose between 10 micrometer or 25 micrometer resolutions and switch between them layer by layer.
  6. Fundraising - Inkbit has completed a $19 million funding round to develop its polymer multi material jetting technology further.
  7. Fundraising - MIT spinoff Rapid Liquid Print has secured $7 million in funding to further develop its 3D printing technology that is based on printing inside gel.
  8. Software - Spherene, a Swiss startup, offers a cloud-based API algorithm that uses spherical structures to infill 3D parts, reducing weight while maintaining structural strength.
  9. Metal - HBD from China launched a laser on a powder bed system with six lasers and a build volume of 350X400X400
  10. Metal - Desktop Metal has launched a kit for its P1 printer that allows printing with reactive material powders, including titanium and aluminum.
  11. Construction - Züblin, a German construction company, has announced the completion of the world's first 3D-printed building with load-bearing concrete walls.

Again, from the lack of implementing new post-process procedures that will set new standards and part certification the downward spiral continues. Need to move away from conventional post-process methods and those standards established over the last century.
