  2. FDM/FFF - QIDI Tech has released the Q1 Pro, a filament printer with a closed and heated chamber, for less than $1,000
  3. Grants - JuggerBot has been granted $4 million from the US Air Force to create a bigger and better 3D printing system.
  4. Metal - In a study of seawater corrosion, researchers at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory determined that tiny particles called "slag" cause corrosion in 316L stainless steel printed metal parts.
  5. Medical -?Scientists from the University of Oregon and L'Oréal developed an artificial skin model that closely resembles human skin using a new 3D printing technique.
  6. Purchases - Mentice has acquired French Biomodex's biorealistic 3D printing activity for $200,000 after Biomodex had invested about €12 million in it to date .

  8. Construction - ICON company launched new robotic arm, materials, and software for 3D printing buildings with concrete.
  9. Space - Leap 71 will collaborate with Solideon to design and manufacture hardware at scale for space applications using robotic metal 3D printing systems.
  10. Dental - The Chinese manufacturer UnionTech has released the D300, a high-output DLP printer specifically designed for the dental industry.
