  1. Education - An educational 3D printing system has been developed by UK software company Ai Build and KUKA Systems.
  2. Metal - Australian researchers have developed a new feedstock for wire-melting aluminum printing that reduces post-production heat treatment.
  3. Metal - Scientists at ORNL are using neutrons to investigate the atomic structure of printed metal parts in order to increase their resistance to deformation.
  4. Metal - 3DEO, which offers precision metal printing services using proprietary technology, has added 316L steel to the list of materials.
  5. Space - ESA will use electrically conductive PEEK-based composites to print 3D-printed polymers for a lunar landing mission.
  6. FDM/FFFUltimaker introduces the S7, a closed 3D printer with an air filter and a print volume of 330X240X300.
  7. FDM/FFF - Toybox introduces a small, cheap, and easy-to-use wire printer aimed at the home market, especially for printing toys.
  8. Medical - Restor3D is working with Kinos, which recently acquired the company, to integrate its 3D printing technology into orthopedic surgery products.
  9. Fashion - Fashion house Dior will launch a series of shoes 3D printed entirely from a thermoplastic material in the upcoming fashion week
  10. Electronics - Rehovot-based Nano Dimensions is delivering its new Admaflex130 Evolution printer to a customer for the first time.
