  1. Software - Jiga raised 4.1 million dollars to continue developing a digital platform that contacts buyers with trusted suppliers.
  2. Dental - Stratasys launches TrueDent, a dental resin approved by the FDA for color printing dental prostheses.
  3. Dental - Stratasys launches the J3 DentaJet, a dental desktop printer with the ability to print several materials
  4. Textiles - The Karl Mayer Group is launching a technological solution to combine the production of knitted together with 3D printing on the spread fabric.
  5. Nano printing - B9Creations launches a 32K dollars polymer printer for below 20 microns with a build volume of 21.6X127X38.4 mm.
  6. Technology - Researchers have created "acoustic holograms" to assemble three-dimensional objects using only sound. The technique can enable a new type of 3D printing of various objects.
  7. Technology - Researchers from MIT have printed a weather sensor using glass-ceramics designed for tiny satellites and can withstand a temperature of 800 degrees.
  8. Environment - Nagami has completed an interior design for Ecoalf, a store selling sustainable clothing almost entirely 3D printed from recycled plastic.
  9. Furniture - Using a robotic arm and dedicated software, Haddy has opened a factory in Florida to produce furniture printed in 3D from polymers.
  10. Metal - Laser powder bed manufacturer EOS will soon release the Smart Fusion tool package allowing metal parts to be printed without supports.
