  1. SLA- Azul 3D has introduced a smaller printer called POND, which utilizes its HARP technology to facilitate faster material and application development.
  2. Technology - Researchers from San Diego have found a way to print in 3D using polymer ink and a saltwater solution.
  3. Electronics - NUS researchers have developed the CHARM3D technique to efficiently print 3D structures with high electrical conductivity by using a voltage between the molten metal nuzzle and the leading edge of the printed part.
  4. Metal - BLT successfully printed from Ti?AlNb powder, a metallic raw material for structural applications and high temperature resistance.
  5. Metal - Printer manufacturer Mantle, known for its integrated printer with CNC designed for die and tool printing, has introduced a new material: stainless steel 420.
  6. Large Format - BigRep, a manufacturer of large-format printers, has successfully gone public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with a company valuation of €157 million.
  7. Aviation - Aurora Labs from Australia has successfully demonstrated the use of a 3D-printed micro jet turbine engine
  8. Investment - Polyplastics, a Japanese materials company, has invested in the Swiss start-up NEMATX AG. NEMATX AG specializes in FDM/FFF printing of industrial materials.
  9. Industry news - Desktop Metal, a printer manufacturer being acquired by Nano Dimension, presented disappointing results for the second quarter. Revenues decreased, and a loss of over 100 million dollars occurred.
  10. Environment - Scientists in the UK have developed a new method to permanently remove toxic chemicals from wastewater using a 3D-printed ceramic lattice structure.
