Today we filmed our first two scenes for Up the Ranks. The shooting went smoothly and we managed to get the two scenes done without many hiccups. Onset we had a few problems with the monitor as it wouldn't switch on but I messaged someone on our course and she managed to point me in the correct direction and we soon got that fixed and back to filming.

On set, everyone worked together well and made the shoot run smoothly. The footage came out really good and onset me the cinematographer and the director Jordan decided that we were going to film the same scene at different angles as this would allow Joao the editor to intercut between the shots creating a more exciting spectacle.

The actor Kyle was also very good to say he's never acted before. We also had some good news that we found a couple of actors to be the teammates of kyle which meant we could finally put together a completed shooting schedule.
