Day 2: Elevate Your Worth: The Power of Raising Your Salary
You might feel a little uncomfortable. The first time you raise your salary it might feel a little like you’re just picking an arbitrary number, hoping someone will say yes so that you can validate the pricing.
But the truth is you already know deep down inside what that number should be.
You just haven’t admitted to yourself that the number you hear is the number you want to charge.
You’re scared it’s too high.
You’re scared you can’t deliver value at that price point.
You’re scared you’ll get laughed at or worse…
…ghosted by a client you would have worked with at a lower price.
And even though your mentor tells you, “Raise your salary.”
And even though you hear your higher self say, “Raise your salary.”
And even though you know, it would feel good to raise your damn salary…
…you still hesitate.
And then, inevitably, you struggle.
You may make a few sales here and there, but the clients are not quite what you see as your ideal clients.
You secretly resent the work you must do to fulfill because you know the true value and are upset at yourself for playing small.

Finally, you invest in coaching so you can get better at marketing and selling the same “wrong price” offer.
But for some reason that doesn’t seem to work as well as you thought.
Here’s why.
You absolutely must raise your salary.
Every year
Every time you level up.
Every time you hear a new price coming through.
Because you are a service-based entrepreneur, your gift is your energy.
And your energy is what you deliver to clients.
And you can’t pour from an empty cup.
As you level up, your cup expands. You’re able to support clients at higher levels, and that means the investment has to change.
And with the change in investment, your self-perception changes. Gradually, bit by bit, you stop accepting less.
You allow in all the good things that already have your name on it.
