Week 45 - Anchor Yourself in Awareness
Jessica Valentine Nelson
Making the workplace one where people are productive, inspired, and enabled to create positive change.
As the US experienced time change and tomorrow's impending election, let us anchor ourselves in awareness.
According to the yogic traditions and many philosophical lineages, awareness is a form of consciousness. The truest version of yourself, the essence of your spirit, the energy of love.
This source energy can sometimes feel lost or layered with your human experience, especially in the modern professional world.
When we anchor ourselves to truth, we are able to become more aware. This allows us to take care of our needs, to articulate and communicate those needs to others, and to better our communities through our pure, loving presence.
It is human to experience the ebbs and flow of self-confidence and self-doubt. The question becomes, which do you choose to anchor to? Truth / Love or Lies / Fears.
As you outline your agenda for the week, I encourage you to do one of these things to anchor yourself to awareness in our fast paced, AI-driven modern world.

Recommendations:
I believe one of the best ways to remain anchored is to choose something spontaneous that serves your hearts desires.
Yesterday I attended an hour long yoga practice and workshop on the root chakra, the energy center of safety and security. If you are more interested in energy work or the science behind the Chakras, I recommend the book resource by Anodea Judith. This hour long learning session was facilitated from a former IBM executive and 500-hour RYT.
Essentially, we are all over or under functioning in our ability to anchor. Notice which recommendation gave you the most excitement. Go do that thing!
Maintaining forward motion while Anchor(ing) Yourself in Awareness is the key to growth, goal-setting, and getting to the next horizon of your life and career.
Stay connected and committed to being the best version of you today.
Take care and talk soon! Work week #45 is one to make great because you decided to.
