?? Google Ads Performance Max Gets Page-Specific Assets, Sharable Ad Previews, And More
Google has introduced multiple new features and updates to its Performance Max campaigns in Google Ads. Especially the page-specific assets feature and sharable ad previews seem pretty useful.
In addition to these features, a few AI-tooling updates are introduced as well. Some of these are only available for Performance Max campaigns, but some can be used on other campaign types as well.

?? Noyb Files A Privacy Complaint Against Pinterest For Tracking Users Without Consent
It turns out Pinterest has been tracking its users without consent, and Noyb just filed a formal complaint about it. Pinterest claims it has "legitimate interest" to use as a legal basis, and enables tracking as default. A practice which is against the CJEU ruling and most other websites have already abandoned.
Pinterest, of course, rejects these accusations, so it will probably take some time to see what has actually been going on.

?? Google Sitelinks Search Box Going Away
To simplify the search results, Google is removing the sitelink search box which appears on some search results. Google states that usage of the search box has declined over the years.
The element will begin to disappear from search results in November, and this won't have any effect on the sitelinks which will continue to be shown.
