Week 4 - Reflect & Reward

Today is the final day on January...31 days in 2025 complete.
Personally and professionally this week I felt stretched, challenged, and successful in navigating change combined with new opportunities.
It may have been one of the most rocky and resilient weeks of my career, hence the delay in this newsletter. :)
When we take time to pause, it allows us to pull back and gain perspective.
Take time to reflect on your start to the new year.
You can write down what immediately comes to mind. You can simply reflect on the milestones, moments, and mundane. Honor your process, wherever you are mentally and emotionally in the here and now.
Step 1) Start with the good. Acknowledge the gains. Respect your growth. Begin with gratitude.
Step 2) Look for the gaps. Where can you improve? What insights or ah-ha moments did you anchor? What is something new you learned about yourself in the process?

Step 3) What were the sparks of inspiration? The activities that ignited your spirit. The moments you didn't plan for but were joyful, spontaneous, and fun?!
Now create a go-forward strategy.
Working and living from your heart vs. your head is a daily practice. There's a combination of rational and intuition. A little push of what you should do, what is smart to do, and a whisper of inspiration or deep desire. My encouragement is that you start from HEART. You feel into the subtle whispers or sparks of inspiration. You notice what drains and constrains you, and begin to get yourself unstuck from the outdated thoughts, feelings, or emotions that are ready to be updated.
Whatever you do, be gentle with yourself. Notice and appreciate your growth and ability to proceed through this process (your own process) in a way that is true for you and honors your life experience.
The world can be dark and heavy, it can be light and beautiful. It can be a combination. However you see and experience it it now, know that through reflection comes reward.
