Week 39 ????????????

Monday: A Thorn in My Elbow and Multitasking Marathon

Monday was a busy start to the week, beginning with preparations for a Friday presentation about internship strategies for the students at Copenhagen Business Academy . After working on slides and organizing ideas, I had to rush to a doctor's appointment for a small thorn in my elbow, which thankfully didn’t need much attention. Multitasking was the name of the game as I juggled a technician question class with Andreas, focusing on using Zapier and changes in the Facebook API. Later in the evening, we had a lovely dinner with Endre Sz?cs , who shared some hilarious stories, and we ended the night tackling the Zoom-to-Facebook streaming problem together.

Tuesday: Networking in Aarhus

Tuesday was all about heading to Aarhus, which offered the perfect opportunity to work on the train. I had my first buddy group meeting with other members from my online course, where we discussed our challenges and strengths. It was great to meet such an accomplished group. Later, I ran into Sidsel from IDA , one of our partners, and met with Martyna Wieczkiewicz , who is eager to help organize future events in Aalborg. The highlight of the day was a Vipps MobilePay event, where I connected with fellow CPHUX members like Bailey Doolittle , Malavika Gupta , Louise Cathrine Iversen and Konstantinos Chaloulos . The event included insightful UX testing of a new feature, followed by a great chat with Ladies that UX Aarhus .

Wednesday: A Productive Day and A Last-Minute Meeting

Wednesday started in a bit of a rush when I almost missed my regular meeting with Helena Bright . We dove into ConvertKit and discussed the recent mobile pay event in Aarhus. Most of the day was work-heavy, including adding new events to the calendar and completing my presentation for the internship strategy. I even decided to turn the presentation into a freebie, which led to setting up a landing page, email series, and everything else that comes with it. The day was a long stretch of focus and productivity.

Thursday: Victor’s First Birthday

Thursday was all about celebrating my baby boy, Victor, who turned one! We started the morning with flags and singing, and he was thrilled with the attention and the gift we rewrapped for him. Despite the rain, I took the kids to daycare, bringing along treats for Victor’s classmates. Afterward, I continued work on the freebie and had a great meeting with Sofia Hadjichristidis , offering her advice about the job market in Denmark. Meanwhile, the Copenhagen Vipps MobilePay event ran into live-streaming issues ?? The evening was spent at Victor’s swimming class, followed by a lovely dinner with friends at Bones to celebrate his special day.

Friday: Internship Strategy Talk and Kvalifik’s Party

Friday was hectic with a LinkedIn event organised by Dj?f about networking and leads, where I learned a valuable metaphor comparing LinkedIn to a fireplace—it takes effort to warm it up, but once it’s going, it’s easier to maintain. Then it was time to finalize my internship strategy presentation, ensuring the freebie and all digital aspects were ready to go, which was stressful but rewarding in the end. The talk in Lyngby was well-received, and I even got a sweet message from a student that made my day. Afterward, I had a quick lunch and meeting with Helena about our first newsletter via ConvertKit. The day ended with Kvalifik 's housewarming party, where I reconnected with many familiar faces like CPHUX members Ed Orozco and Flore Nové-Josserand . Despite the fun, I left early to return home and help Lars with the kids.

Saturday: Victor’s Birthday Celebration

Saturday was all about celebrating Victor’s birthday with family and friends. The day started with preparations—picking up tapas and setting the table. My friends Sally Gregersen and Matilde Aaskj?r Juul came over with Sally's kid Otto. It was a joy to watch Olivia and Otto playing together. Victor, almost walking, was the star of the show, charming everyone as he toddled from person to person. It was a beautiful day filled with laughter and love, but by the end, we were all exhausted and took it easy for the rest of the evening.

Sunday: Bush Cutting and Reflection

Sunday was a mix of outdoor work and deep reflection. After reading a gardening magazine, I realized some bushes needed trimming before the cold set in, so I headed outside while my mom and Lars took care of the kids. As I trimmed the bushes, I listened to a podcast about child upbringing by Sofie Münster, which sparked some deep personal reflections about guilt and shame. It led to a meaningful conversation with Lars later in the evening. During the day, my mom, Victor, and I also went shopping at Fields, where I found a beautiful pink jacket. The evening wrapped up with pizza and a visit to the playground with the kids before tackling some website data with Lars to set up more efficient newsletters. We ended the day exhausted but satisfied after some late-night work and laundry.

Full disclosure: I’m writing this post with the help of ChatGPT. I’m essentially voice-recording everything, and then it’s being transcribed to save me some time.
