Good morning #gardeners. Quite a nice weekend, on the whole, here in #Enfield. Bit of sun, then overcast but remaining warm. Just right for a bit of #gardening.

Fresh... sums up a couple of things this week. Firstly, the mornings. A definite autumnal chill can be felt on early starts with moisture collecting on car screens. Secondly, it describes the #plants that we have recently had delivered.

Our #shrub area is now autumn & winter ready with some lovely new additions complimenting our #owngrown range. We managed to put out some posts & stories yesterday, highlighting some of the arrivals & there will be more to follow this week. Included are some #evergreens & #grasses in smaller size containers suitable for mixed container arrangements.

Just another quick reminder that autumn / winter #beddingplants are ready. Currently the range includes mini #cyclamen & trailing pansies in 9cm pots, #Wallflowers #polyanthus & #pansies in bedding boxes (12 plants per box).

Our #terracotta pot merchandisers visited on Friday so the 'Tub & Pot' aisle is full. We have glazed & plain terracotta in various sizes & price ranges. So if you want to make a winter display, pot up a shrub or choose containers for spring #flowering #bulbs (which we have a FULL selection of) there will be something suitable on display. There are also some lovely glazed terracotta #birdbaths as fresh water is a thoughtful thing to provide accompanying your #birdfeeders, which will soon be visited more frequently. Speaking of which, #BirdCare stock is at an excellent level.

This week we anticipate more deliveries including a 'fresh' range of ornamental & #fruit #trees. If they arrive on time, they should be on display by this coming weekend. We have a film crew visiting tomorrow shooting a few segments for a new #TVGardening programme that is, hopefully, coming to our screens soon. More details about this as & when we can reveal them.
