Safety first!?

This week, we carried out our regular medical emergency drill at the 35MW Menengai geothermal power plant in Kenya. The exercise tested the readiness of our medical facilities and emergency response team through a simulated incident in the transformer area, where an employee collapsed while operating a jackhammer. This scenario also served to highlight the risks associated with hydrogen sulphide gas.

By conducting these drills, we ensure that our team remains prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any emergency, prioritizing the health and safety of everyone on site. Stay prepared, stay safe!
