Week 30 - Own Your Awesome

As I write this to you, I am conscious that I am integrating back into the flow of work after taking 5 business days off. It is amazing how 1 week to step out of the day-to-day can help your creativity and productivity.
When we begin our work from our heart center, knowing our purpose, reclaiming our sense of personal power, and taking agency over our careers - it is truly a miracle.
Create a conscious shift from your head to your heart, this way of leadership may seem new yet oddly familiar to those who have experienced a yoga class.
If we begin our days on our own agenda, reconnected to our why - we can begin to OWN OUR AWESOME.
It sounds cliche, yet in a world and workforce filled with suffering, why not.
Often our experiences or expertise are invalidated by others opinion, yet if you look to inspiration from executives, professional athletes (Go Team USA - Paris Olympics 2024), you will see that adversity and the courage to keep going in spite of doubt or setbacks drive success.
So stop looking for validation or a sense of self-worth outside of yourself.
It begins with you. Now is the time to own your awesome.

I encourage you to schedule time this week for the BIG 4, and no, I am not talking about accounting firms...
1) A type of movement/exercise you enjoy
2) A conversation with a friend or colleague outside of your work environment
3) A learning session for you to study industry trends
4) A moment to write down your growth and focus on new skills to develop
