Week 28 - Authenticity in a world of AI/automation

Last week I wrote the Weekly Work Wisdom newsletter, used AI (ChatGPT) to edit it, then was dissatisfied with the output.
I support the evolution of technology, how AI can positively impact our skill and talent development, yet I find that when writing or creating something personal, the tone of the communication changes when put through AI as a filter.
In a world filled with AI and Automation, can you establish more space for authenticity?
When people feel that organizational change is scripted or filtered, they do not understand the authenticity or impact behind a communication, training plan, or output to the organization.
What people will always understand (and often misunderstand) is the nature in which you are true to yourself, to define your value, success criteria, working style, and boundaries in a way that feels supportive for your career trajectory.
I am offering a place for you to explore what habits or work rituals that you can automate, where you (responsibly) want to leverage AI, and most importantly, how you can be more true and authentic to yourself, your colleagues, the team, and your leadership.
If you have read WWW (weekly work wisdom) every week for the past year, thank you.
My goal with this medium is to lighten your stress and offer ease as you begin to take the lessons of working life to ascertain the wisdom and embodiment for your career.

Life can be defeating, people can be cruel, the workplace can feel like a concrete jungle or in parallel be an empowering, expansive learning place of growth, and naturally beautiful space.
It's all in how you see and reframe it.
In a world filled with AI and Automation, be authentic. Schedule time to explore your creativity. Write down your thoughts, begin to use your breath to get present and create a fresh start exactly where (and how) you are today.
Authenticity is the essence of knowing and loving who you are.
Explore it and be kind to yourself. You're doing the best that you can. And if you believe you are not, breathe, begin again, and know / do better.
Focus on what you know, where you are, and the steps to where you are growing.
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
