Circularity in the automotive sector - The end-of-life vehicle regulation proposal?

In partnership with Euractiv , we welcomed guests to discuss the path towards a circular economy for the automotive sector and explore how stakeholders can collaborate to ensure the successful implementation of the End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) regulation.?

Decline of the EU EV market: myth or real crisis?

With over 350 electric models available and billions invested, manufacturers are playing their part to achieve the Paris Climate goals. But is Europe’s EV market growing as quickly as anticipated??

S&P Global presented the latest data which raises serious concerns about the EU’s electric vehicle (BEV) market. You can discover more about that here.?

Czech Transport Minister Martin Kupka spoke in support of a “targeted automotive industrial action plan,” stressing that “the EU needs to have a more flexible system in place for auto manufacturers to reach the ambitious CO2 reduction targets.”?

We welcomed over 40 participants,?for an engaging exchange and workshop for European Parliament Assistants led by our Public Affairs team. We gave a deep dive into our sector and brainstormed how we can tackle challenges together!?

It was a great evening of lively discussions, with some time at the end to informally explore the key themes.?
