The second week of this challenge is going to be dedicated to the overview of the process and every week that passes I will be saying that this is the most important part. Very much like building a house, what is the most important part? Is it the windows? Is it the walls? Or is it the foundation? We all know that they are all critical. So forgive me if I will state that a particular part of the process is critical.
When we look at the process as an overview you can clearly see that we are looking at a circular process. This would indicate that this is a continuing process and once completed you start again. This is true, as I have said it before and is shown in my quote at the start of this challenge. Energy Management is a journey, it needs to be taken in steps. In this case, I would say it is an annual cycle where the second cycle will provide further integration of the energy management process.
I implemented this program many years ago and what was planned in year one happened in years two, three and four. The second year cycle led us into other areas and other focuses but the ‘action plan’ we developed in year one for implementation would grow and start evolving year on year.
When we look at the process for an organisation, we are reliant on two very key elements that make up the process. Firstly, the key points are that the organisation has to deliver commitment and secondly secure good accurate data year on year and in the best of cases, monthly.
Once we have an understanding of these key points we need to start working with the organisation and start to formulate the process with the client. This is also where we discuss with them how this is going to work and what areas the challenge is going to cover.
By me saying that this challenge is going to cover all aspects of ‘Energy Management’ you are going to wonder, but how? This is were we map out the areas, noting that not all areas will be relevant for all organisations.

3 年I do have a question. How will you convince a potential customer that they will not end up paying more on opting for a stand alone or grid connected renewable system at their homes/work spaces?
