My Week
The week started as a lazy one after the holidays but ended with a RTE class. A good start to the year !!
Our Mentorship Programs are full and we will be starting the cohort soon in the second week of January 2024. Check the latest post here with your mentors. I will be joined with Satyajit Gantayat , Atulya Krishna Mishra on this.
Giving back to the community
When think of the learners / leaders and members of Agile community whom I was lucky enough to know, always thought about constructive ways to give back. I know there are a lot of ways, but what is easy, quick and efficient ? Multiple ways to connect !!
Future
Look out for some exciting community building activities from Agilemania in the coming months. One thing in the backlog is #AskAshwinee. Let us meet on 12th January.
My mentoring sessions on Enterprise Agile Coach+ will start from 11th January and will be running for 15 Weeks.
Books I am reading
A slow month of book reading. I have to change this.
Offline / In-person classes means travel. More time for Audible !! I will leave the book names with no comments of mine. A book is always a treasure and not knowing before exploring is a positive.
The Creative Act: by Rick Rubin
There are 5 more books in the kitty and not enough time to listen. This is a good problem to have. A very good problem.

An Interesting Thought
Webinars and meetups, online or in-person? The ask is to meet, but the comfort of working and attending remotely overtakes the intent to meet. I might be biased, but seeing this pattern whenever we announce a meetup !!
A Wicked Problem and my Biased Opinion
Note : An opinion is already biased, and a bias is no more than an opinion
I am adding this section, which was a suggestion from my learners WhatsApp group (Yes, if you are part of my class you get to be part of this WhatsApp group). The ask was, "why not talk about a problem and a potential solution". I did add my spin of Wicked Problem and Biased Opinion. If you have one, do let me know and I will be happy to answer here.
Wicked Problem: Sessions with games/simulations or without ?
Regular Answer: Should be good as long as learners get what they want.
Biased Opinion: I don't like games in a session. I feel they dilute the theory / research we want to really learn. Rather than a game, can I get a real world implementation?
