The week that was: 16 - 22 Aug 2021
It has been a long time that I posted any material on LinkedIn. I did start with enthusiasm some time back, but it faded out pretty soon and I could not understand the reason myself. So, here I am with fresh thought process, and lot more commitment to publish on each weekend, as long as I can, starting from today. Any significance of this date is purely incidental, and not planned.
The week began on a day after celebrating Independence Day, one of the National Festival days. It was with fervour and glee that we celebrated 74th Independence Day marking the beginning of 75th anniversary to culminate on 15 Aug 2022. The year long celebrations will be of great importance as the globe is still reeling under the pandemic effect.
Offices, campuses, schools are yet to commence full-time activity and everyone seems to be cautious the way things might span out. The alleged third wave of COVID-19 might strike and give some jerks to human-kind, and this thought is drawing the spirits back, while the thoughts are well poised to be roaring in for growth.
India has seen 23 unicorns in 2021 in the last week, which is a great news, in deed. If this is the way the world trusts Indian Eco-system of Entrepreneurs, I am sure we would cross USA and become the numero uno in producing the largest Entrepreneurs, and in turn become more self-reliant. This brings to the thought that in ancient era, people in India were truly entrepreneurial in nature and the society nurtured them. Are we looking forward for such a scenario soon to come back in our social fabric?
