Week of 12th August

My Week

This week was personal time and some travel. I am on topmate too now !! Check https://topmate.io/ashwinee_kalkura

Giving back to the community

When think of the learners / leaders and members of Agile community whom I was lucky enough to know, always thought about constructive ways to give back. I know there are a lot of ways, but what is easy, quick and efficient ? Multiple ways to connect !!

  1. If you have a question for me, if you need or plan to give a suggestion, or just want to catch up, do it so here as a 15 minute free consult or check on Topmate.
  2. You can schedule a talk / meet-up with me or my esteemed colleagues at Agilemania. Look at this LinkedIn post to know more!
  3. Mentorship program in different tracks !! The current cohort is full and the next one is announced : https://agilemania.com/enterprise-agile-coaching-bootcamp
  4. If you or your organization wants a service around Advisory, Consulting, Teaching and Coaching – do reach out through LinkedIn here . A simple form to fill.
  5. Restarting my YouTube channel again with some interesting thoughts. You can subscribe at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCksojgSZgTI-KJDrHir3Cy

Future

Look out for some exciting community building activities from Agilemania and Talentmania in the coming months.

Watchout for the exciting learning opportunity announced !!

One Day classes V2.0 announced at https://agilemania.com/workshop

Next webinar through Topmate on "Product Owner's Toolkit for the Real World". Check it out here https://topmate.io/ashwinee_kalkura/1122677 , the session is on 22nd August at 7PM IST.

Books I am reading

Offline / In-person classes means travel. More time for Audible !! I will leave the book names with no comments of mine. A book is always a treasure and not knowing before exploring is a positive.

Third Millennium Thinking by Saul Perimutter, John Campbell and Robert MacCoun

There are 5 more books in the kitty and not enough time to listen. This is a good problem to have. A very good problem.

An Interesting Thought

You can blame JIRA for all you want, about "killing agility". The fact is by way of making numbers/work visible to everyone in the organization, the tool has made the Agile Adoption quicker and easier for most organizations.
