Week 11+12 ??????

Week 11+12 ??????

Monday

I hosted a Job seeker work session on the topic 'Portfolio' with Beril Kurtulus , Amer Munir , Endre Sz?cs , Sander Andreas Schwartz , Nicolas Alejandro Scaglia and joined online Mirco Pagliarani , Celso L. , and Mariah Sells ??

We only had time to go through 3 portfolio cases but a lot of great feedback/inputs was exchanged.

That night I invited my Event Steering Group ( Sandra Kania (Wdowiak) , Erzsébet Bálint , Anamaria Roxana Rosu , and William Engqvist )

to come in for a status meeting and a work session on our event thumbnails. We ran through the events planned for the rest of the spring season and what holes we need to fill out. Great energy and excitement around the upcoming plans and great people we can involve.

I had asked ChatGBT how to do a work session and got a great agenda which we modified a bit and then generated some great ideas individually. Then Sandra Kania (Wdowiak) went into Figma and started prototyping the combination of our ideas.

Tuesday

Christian Wreem Munch and I worked on creating a roadmap for the rest of the Job Market Report work. It was awesome to get a better overview and a clearer timeline for when we can expect to be done.

I had a lovely lunch meeting with Anders Toxboe from LearningLoop.com where I learned more about his cool mentorship program and how he got into it.

Christian Wreem Munch , Christine Haugaard , and I had our 3rd sprint meeting. We called it '?? Bill Gates'

I welcomed new CPHUX members; Sara Gro Vagtholm and Mirela Stoian .

Wednesday

I was interviewed for Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship alumni program called "Founder to Leader" by Mia Jung Elmertoft .

I welcomed a new CPHUX member; Amer Munir

Christian Wreem Munch and I had the pleasure of catching up with Madelein Nienkemper and talking about the graphs that will go in our Job Market Report.

Thursday

My husband had a final interview for a really cool job, so I spend the first part of my day with our lovely daughter before we all went to her baby swimming class.

I got to interview Sasha Bondareva for my podcast Why UX? and it was so lovely to hear her story. It was also really amazing to hear how CPHUX has affected her life positively. THAT is why I love what I do and want to continue even if I haven't found that great revenue stream yet.

Friday

I met up with my good friend Janus Nielsen and while we walked around N?rrebro, we got to discuss the world situation. If you read Danish I'd recommend you to his novel blog called: Leverpostej

Saturday

We were supposed to have a lovely day with friends but felt a bit sick so we stayed at home and just chilled out.

Sunday

Still feeling a bit sick so no plans for the day.

That evening Nestors Kuliks and I took a meeting and caught a bit up on the design system he is working on for the CPHUX website. There was a lot to catch up on and we weren't done but my brain was dead when we hung up.

Monday

I got to catch up with the lovely ladies from my mother group and all our cute babies. It's insane how much they have grown and how they're developing. It's fun to be able to compare them and see how differently they're evolving despite being born so close to each other.

Tuesday

I got to follow up with Louise S. and Benjamin Bernhard H?jland and propose a partnership between Workday Peakon Employee Voice and CPHUX . Let's ?? that it will happen, because they have so many cool designers and work in such a unique way. A partnership can enable us to share their stories and that would be so cool.

Christian is pouring so much love into that batter.

Christine Haugaard , Christian Wreem Munch , and I had a milestone celebration. Christian who is a bit of a pizza nerd, made us his delicious homemade pizzas. Beyond delicious ?? and then we played the game Chronicles of Crime which is an amazing game.

I went for my second SaaS Scaleup Community networking meeting where I got to hang out with some great like-minded people and discuss the challenges we are facing. There is so much to learn from each other and I walked away smarter which is more than I could have hoped for. Shout out to Malte Fanefjord for being the driving power behind this awesome network ??

Wednesday

I welcomed a new CPHUX member; OMAR MISDAQ

I had a chat with Akilah Foote and Stella Bach Lauritsen about an event we have in the pipeline for April called: "Advice to avoid self-disqualification." Here are 4 speakers who will come with examples of reasons why a candidate in a hiring process with them, did things that made the candidate disqualify themselves. It will for sure be a very interesting evening ??

That night my cousins Ida Levison and Ruben Levison came over for a family dinner. It's always lovely to catch up with them and hear what is happening in their lives.

Check out Sandra's episode here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/43clf7pbf7QXPEdxKRJIGO

I'm so happy to release the newest episode of Why UX? where I interviewed Sandra Kania (Wdowiak) .

She is truly inspiring, how she get inspired by her mother who was using design methodology in her work as a seamstress, how she worked and learned from a customer-facing job in a bank, how she found her way to UX, and how she today gives back as a volunteer at ReDI School of Digital Integration Denmark, a mentor at adplist.org and is part of the Event Steering Group at CPHUX where I get to collaborate with her ??

I welcomed new CPHUX members; Yilin Xu , Isha Thuse , and Raluca Hirbu ??

I got to catch up with Harley Nanfeld Foged which is always a delight. We talked about the challenges of running communities. She is doing a kickass job with Ladies, Wine & Design - Copenhagen . They are hosting some truly inspiring events and I admire her a lot.

We met up with Mianda Galan Hansen , Dalia Skardziute , and two other ladies who are running their communities. I had to leave early because I was teaching my fitness class, but I really look forward to catching up with them again to learn and inspire each other.

Oh and after my fitness class, a girl came up to me and told me it was one of the best classes she had ever attended. That just makes me so proud ??

Friday

It was my stepdad's birthday so Olivia and I called him and sang with flags and all ???? She did try eating the flag, but it was still a good time ??

Christian Wreem Munch , Christine Haugaard , and I had a great retrospective. I was not in the best mood, but spending time with these people always make me leave happy. I'm really grateful to work with so fun, caring and ambitious people like them ??

Saturday

We got up early and went to the Vestamager swimming pool. It was the first time the 3 of us got to be in the water together and it was so much fun. It's clear that the swimming classes are paying off because despite there being a LOT of people in the pool, Olivia was super chill and just had a good time splashing around.

Once we got home both me and O, took a nice long nap. When we got up we went to celebrate that Lars had signed the contract for his new job with a late lunch/early dinner at Bones.

After O got to bed, we played another game of Cronicales of crime. It's such a fun game but also difficult to get everything right.

Sunday

We invited Matilde Aaskj?r Juul over for a dinner and it was great to catch up with her. Having a baby prevents you from seeing as many people socially as you'd like to. So it's great to have flexible friends who can just pop over for dinner ??

Upcoming week

I'm really excited about the first day of the course "Founder to Leader" on Wednesday and meeting the people on it. I filled out a personality test this week so excited to see how they're going to incorporate that into the program ??
