The Week that was: 08 - 14 Nov 2021
Here I am trying to keep up my word of posting this on Sunday, and the Sunday is not yet over.
The week began with 55th birthday of yours truly, and obviously quality time spent with family. Preparations for the first in-person event, MICONCLAVE at MICA by #MLSTeam was planned a while ago and the D'Day was approaching fast, being 13 Nov 2021. Mentally the preparations were on with speakers lined up for three tracks, taking care of logistics for them as well was all in place. The students team that you find along with me in the picture that is captured by #SenseMICA has been working tirelessly to put it together, along with my colleague, Chetna.
09 Nov 2021 is when I reached campus to only get information that couple of speakers had dropped off due to health reasons. We wish them a speedy recovery. However, that meant we had to find new speakers on a short notice. This time who else would help us other than friends, who chipped in very favourably. Thank you guys for your timely support. (I am reserving their names, as of now)
D'Day - 13 Nov 2021, with the support of the students team, as above, and so many people from the administration, staff, faculty and yes students, and all other people who supported, like video and photographers, both internal and external, people who served us food and took care of so many logistics, we have executed the event to the thumping success.
All kudos to the team which made this possible! Now we would look forward for next week with lots of enthusiasm and so many hopes.
